Luckely no one was hurt.

Typical hit of a light first generation IR missile.

Went straight for the jet pipe & ripped of everything behind the LPT.

Newer ones explode a little later (aside the cockpit of a smaller aircraft if it just misses the jetpipe)

Bigger ones would have caused more damage to the engine, wing pylon and wing.

Looks like a SAM-7, again ..

To put it simply.......they were VERY lucky....but that is just my opinion.....
