F/A-18's In MSN On Fri/sat

I flew my Cessna into Madison yesterday and there were 8 Navy F/A-18's on the ground. What were they doing there? The ramp guy said something about a fly over in milwaukee but he wasn't too specific...anybody know?

Do you like movies about gladiators?

Just a guess they could have been doing a flyover to the Brewers game. It's not uncommon for military jets to visit a civil airport while they are on training flights. There are a lot of FBO's that have a DOD contract for fuel.
