Huey? What Is The Exact Reg?

What kind of Huey is this and what is the exact reg?
The number on the tail reads: 0 21676 (is this the correct reg?) This plane is now preserved... and i heard that this huey was used in the movie "When we were soldiers" Anyone can confirm this?

It could be 73-21676, a Bell UH-1H Iroquois. Anytime a serial number begins with an "0" on a US military aircraft, it may indicate that aircraft is at least ten years old. Here's my source for this particular chopper. Regards.

Yes it is "we were soldiers" with Mel Gibson. Sorry, for the "when"... I have not seen the movie but i heard from several people that this exact Huey was used in it. I have to rent the movie to see if i can find any regs on the tails of the hueys flying....to make sure...
This aircraft is now located/preserved at Midland International Airport, CAF(Commemorative Air Force) veteran memorial.
It is such a beauty. But just did not know how to find and see if the reg on the tail was the exact or how that works.
