We know they probably aren't selling any in Europe, unless ALM Antillean Airlines (Netherlands Antilles)">LM screws up with the F-35 and Norway or someone orders a few, but there are several competitions overseas coming up to upgrade or enlarge Mid-East and Far-East Asian air forces.

Who might realistically buy Rafales?
Singapore. The RSAF has recently sought proposals for F-15 Strike Eagles, Eurofighter Typhoons and Rafales. Right now, rumor has it that the Rafale is a major possibility to be chosen, whereas the typhoon is not favoured as we thought.

What does the RSAF want out of their new aquisitions?
Right now it's a Fighter/Bomber role, primarily light bomber. One thing neat abt the F-15 is that not 1 has been shot down in combat. OTher that that, you're gonna hve to check the manu. stats on the performances. Yes, the want to rid themselves of the A-4 and F-5, and are hoping to get the F-35 one day to replace the F-16s

The RSAF is looking at the F-15T(Singapore version of the strike eagle), rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon for the NGF competition. Many are speculating that the winner could be one of the euro-canard birds. The new fighter will replace the A-4SU officially though it is most likely that the F-16C/Ds will convert to the strike role among other roles while the new fighters will take on the air superiority roles.
