B-52 At Oaklahomer Fairgrounds

Hi does any one know if the B-52 Bomber Tail number 012387 is still present at The Oaklahomer City Fairgrounds as I can find no info on it along with the B-47 that was behind it?

That tail number is the B-47. The B-52 says 70038 on the tail, and is 57-0038.

The B-47, 012387, is 51-2387.

Ok thanks I wondered if the tail number was wrong for the B-52.

But I am still amazed that there are no photos of it in the data base any where, So I may have to save my pennies and go there one day and get some my self.

You asked about it out of the blue, but didn't have any shots?

The display also includes a C-47 and an Aero Commander, but the -52 and -47 dominate the landscape.

Hi I forgot to say in my original request a "NIF non internet friend" asked if there was any info ore photos on Said Bombers as he is going to the city in a couple of Weeks and will try and take some photos!

I tried the photo data base I tried the www. I tried Google and got one blurred Photo shot from a free way.

Only after trying all those did I think of this forum which I almost never use the Military aviation and Space section that is and I got the tail number wrong what a thicko I can be.

But I got put straight on that but It still amazes me that there are no photos in the Photo data base on said machines!
