Watching FoxNews now, they're showing footage of a Hornet that looks like it taxied into a hangar at Buckley AFB in CO....they keep saying it crashed, but it looks like only the radome is buried in the corner of this hangar.
Looks like a pretty bad oops, but hope noone's hurt. Will post pics if I can find em.

I wonder how long they will do payroll deductions from the guy. I think he'd have to stay in for 40 years to pay for that damage.

The story I read said the F-18 was landing and had a brake failure. I also read the pilot ejected. I've looked for that story but couldn't find it.

Good ol Gladiators....probably was a RAG student, probably shook him up pretty good. Hey, at least that Hornet was going after a rival aircraft's hangar....hit em at home
Looks like he was getting ready to make his turn to park next to the other guys. Would love to see the damage photos from this one.

Nope not a student. He lost all the hydraulics that power the brakes and the steering. Also at Buckley the taxiway from the runway to the hanger is quite a downward slope. If that slope weren't there he probably would have been able to stop OK. Would love to tell more but...
