Looks like two Super Hornets, an E and a F. China Lake is some remote high desert...hope they hear some word from the pilots soon.

Seems like California has had it's share of midairs in the past...two of my dad's squadronmates collided in A-7's in the mid 80's, no trace of their bodies were ever found. Sad to lose two friends at once.

Looks like the guy who died is from my hometown as well...too young to have probably flown at Cecil. My thoughts are with his family.
