Was coming back from the beach today and saw a VC 10 parked at Dover AFB, Delaware.
Unfortunately, I was in traffic and couldn't pull off to get a picture.
The a/c was white, with two red strips down the side, red titles on the upper fusalage and a red logo on the tail. It kind of looked like this:

Only the RAF fly VC10's and they are usually all grey. Maybe a Russian IL-62. Tony Blair travelled to UN in a BA777.By the way that VC10 in the picture is in a museum in Germany.

Bond007,
Thanks for the tip.
It could very well have been this one:
Because all (or many of) the world leaders were in New York last week. JFK simply cannot park them all, so they drop off at JFK then go park at Dover, McGuire, Andrews, Dulles, or where ever the U.S. can park them and assure adequate security. BTDT.

Sounds quite logical. Thanks for the info SATL382G!
Must say that it was cool to see a Russian a/c in the states. I have never seen one of them before.
