I can believe the MiG-21...but I'm having a hard time fathoming the 2 F-16's for sale...anyone know which country they belong, if it is in fact real??? All 3 aircraft come from the same eBay seller...

I would be cautious along with buyer beware, the picture shown is a F-16D not a F-16A, plus early block numbers have problems with over stressed wings.

Quoting 2H4 (Reply 7): Well, all three auctions have now been removed.
Obviously that 'company' was a fraud, but why is it seemingly inconcievable for a 21 or 16 to come into private (US) hands at this point in the game? Certainly there is no good argument against a 21, and considering there are 104's in private hands which are supposed to be faster then the 16... $$ Aside why not?
Hell if I wan exacutive going from MIA to EWR or JFK regularly even $20m for something I could take supersonic over the water would be a LOT better then $40m for a Gulfstream, though obviously even with an F-16B I'd be VERY limited on "PAX".

There are a few MiG-21s in private hands in the US I think, though I'd be willing to bet they don't see much flying. The 21 has some... err... unfavorable handling characteristics when confined in modern, crowded airspace.
