Was anyone at the Uppsala airshow in Sweden in late august??
I heard that there was a blue-painted Gripen performing? Is this correct?

Anyone got photos of this aircraft??

There are only two display pilots in Saab/SAF service, and to my nowledge they fly A/C assigned to regular squadrons, and allso the TU JAS unit at Saab lindkjøping, and none of these are blue. One is black, however, I think this one is a test aircraft.

Tjena Staffan!
(Hello Staffan in Swedish)

It was a JA37 Viggen based at the 16:th Air Regiment F16 Uppsala from 2nd Squadron Petter Blå (Blue),that was specially painted in blue with yellow stripes and it also had the squadron insignia painted beneath the wings.

I Hope this will answer your question.

Kind Regards AH727

Tjena AH727!

What do you fly??

Regards,

Staffan

Translation: I´m going down to Algeria to eventually to fly the ATR72 for Khalifa Airways.

Unfortunately I don´t have any pictures of the special painted JA37 Viggen.

I´m sorry for the late reply,Best Regards AH727

Min slutledning blir att:Om du kan få chansen att bli sponsrad via ett flygbolag t.ex Jersey European,Air2000 eller ngt annat flygbolag som bedriver sponsorprogram för ab-initio piloter så är detta det bästa valet;

Translation in Brief:
I don´t think any of the two is better than the other. They both have their advantages, the best training solution is to be sponsored by an airline;Air2000 Jersey European etc.,

Regards Ah727

Translation:

I want to attend TFHS, it's told that it's the best in Sweden, is that correct?

Translation:TFHS is free, the only thing is that they have the same demands on the applicant as the Swedish airforce, that makes the selection process real hard and difficult.

Regards AH727
