U.S. Astro "denied Boarding"?

Russian press reports Russian Space Agency may strand McArthur in space if U.S. does not pay up. A hollow threat to be sure, McArthurs ride home is already docked at station. Also the Russian Space Agency agreed McArthur had a ride home at the Expedition 12 flight readiness review before launch.

Interesting how the Russian press works though...

Too bad this guy isn't that backstreet boy who wanted to go up. I for one would pay for him to stay up there!

You can count me in. Not just him (Lance Bass) but the whole group. Just send them up there and leave them. Somepeople say lawyers are bad but to me nothing is worse than a boy band. They can take Brittany Spears with them too.

Yes...I am not a KIX fan. Let's Japanese Aviation!

Yeah, call it my spider-sense, but I don't think she's still a virgin.....

It wasnt just the Russian press, I first read about this on space.com I think, basically it says that McArthurs tour in space finishes after the expirey of the US-Russian agreement for carraige of US astronauts on Russian Soyuz vehicles. They would be relying on Russian goodwill to get him back, and there was no indication that the Russians would maroon him in space just out of politics. Besides, it wouldnt be much of a problem to bring him back, since they are swapping one ISS crew member out anyway theres a spare seat in the capsule - getting them up there is the expensive bit that needs paying for.
