I was wondering if anyone knew the tail number of the LC-130s that the New York ANG operate?

Thanks in advance

Not sure if this is all of the NY ANG planes but it shows all of the LC-130H's in the Anet database. The US Navy Herks from VXE-6 were transferred to the NY ANG upon deactivation of the Pt Mugu based squadron.

Weren-t the former USN LC-130Fs giving USAF tail numbers, inplace of their BuNos? IIRC, the LC-130Fs were redisgnated and modified to the LC-130H models. They also replaced the NYANG's original LC-130A/B/Es.

Actually the original Ski herks where the C-130D models. They where operated up here in Alaska, some lost their skis and where redesignated the D-6

When the Greenland dew line support mission where transfered to the NY ANG the herks went down there.

I thought the D's had long ago been replaced by LC-130H's.
