The United States Marine Corps. celebrates its 230th birthday, November 10, 1775 was the day when the Continental Congress authorized the formation of the greatest military organization in the world. I say it a day early in case I dont get to be on the forum tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.... DEVIL DOGS..!!!

Do we get to cut a cake? Yum... Although I'm neither the youngest nor oldest "Marine" (AF guy in disguise) present so I'll have to wait in line. My sword & scabbard are "missing" too so someone else will have to do the slicing.  Smile

Happy Birthday Marines!!

I'm a little late for the "party" but a very happy belated Birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps. No telling where we'd be without them...probably speaking a different language under the rule of another country perhaps. To the "leathernecks" - many happy returns.

And a happy Veterans Day to ALL vets of ALL branches of the military! (I realize I'm a day late for this msg too...sorry!) We would definately be less than what we are today without the sacrifices of those heroes who've gone before us!!  bigthumbsup

Sure we can! As long as no one distracts us while we turn our heads left-to-right, counting our fingers, we can count forever...
