Question About The Air Force?

Hi Im an 18 year old private pilot and I am a senior in high school. Im looking into signing with the air force. However Im not sure how i should approach it. I want ot be a pilot, (not a fighter pilot but like a KC-135 or somethign liek that even somethign like the P3's would be cool) I know i have to go to 4 years of college befor ei even start flying for them but how easy is it to becomea pilot for them? what does it take does anyone have any good tips to make it easier or at least make it more of a reality? Im not saying i want the easy way in i mean that would be nice but im totally prepared to work for whatever it takes. can anyone just enlighten me about it? and right now is therea nyting i should be doing? with my flying? thanks -Josh
