I was watching the news this morning about the presidents' visit to New Mexico, and for the first time I realized that he left from a lower door, almost a cargo door. Then I checked the photo data base and found out that they use both doors. Anyone knows who decides on which door to use? And what is down there anyways?
Thanks.

It appears that the doors are designed to allow AF1 to operate from any airport regardless of ground equipment. That appears to be an internal at the bottom. The larger size would also indicate cargo usage. I am quite sure the food and Democrats do not go in through the top..
