Hello Everybody

I notice that the German Air Force has a lot of F-4 Phaeton that soon going the need to be retire. I think they should consider the F-15k because you got the maneuverability of the F-15 and the reliability of the GE F 110 pulling it.

So what do you think.

You need to know that Germany have invest so much money last 20 years on EFA, so they will use it.

Then the future is DRONE.

What ELGreco said is so true. And maybe in the future when asking such a question, how about a question mark ?  idea  The title of the tread is quite misleading.

Exceptions confirm the rule.

I support this so strongly that I have to make a post about it (an usually I refrain from "me too" posts !).

On the subject itself: No way! Eurofighter is the chosen airframe. Period.

Germany considered ordering F-15 in the 80s (I think it was back in the 80s), but the fly-away price was higher than that of the Typhoon. Not to mention that F-15s need by far more maintenance than Typhoon's 9 hours per flight hour.

Oh, and we don't have many VW Phaetons but plenty of F-4 Phantoms.  Wink

The title of this thread should be changed if possible - it is completely misleading.
