It sounds like an engine problem!!

It's good to know the pilot ejected safely.

The ACES II was originally developed by McDonnell Douglas, which then merged with Boeing, which then sold the ACES II production rights to Goodrich in 1999

When the F-16 first came online, it was referred to in jest as the ACES II test bed. Another saying was if you want your own F-16, buy a piece of land near Hill Air Force Base (its first operational location).
