Status Of Portugal Air Force P-3 Orions.

Hi!

Since my last post regarding the arrival the first ex: RNLN Lockheed P-3C CUP Orion to Air Force Base Nr. 6 at Montijo there were further news regarding the operationality of portuguese Orions, so for some of you that keep a track of this beauty here it goes the information:

14801 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - Stored minus engines at Alverca Workshops
14802 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - Status unknow but probably WFU
14803 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - Special markings for the 20 years of ESQ. 601
operational
14804 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - Operational
14805 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - Operational
14806 - Lockheed P-3P Orion - WFU and stored at Air Force Base Nr. 1 Sintra
( to be in display at FAP Museum )
14807 - Lockheed P-3C CUP Orion - Still RNLN 300 number in the tail
14810 - Lockheed P-3C CUP Orion - Still RNLN 307 number in the tail

There is no track on the other 3 ex: RNLN P-3C's...maybe our dutch enthusiasts can give us further information.
