Joint Service Open House 2006 @ Andrews AFB

Last minute addition to the show are the Canadian Snow Birds. Now I am definitely going. Among others, Blue Angels and the Golden Knights will also perform. Its from the 19th to the 21st. Here's the schedule:

Is there a a.net meet plan there? I am not sure which day I will attend. I have seen Snow birds before, and not to belittle the Blue Angels, their show was more entertaining as they have more aircrafts to fill the sky. Golden Knights will be a first for me. Thunderbirds are the only ones left on my 'To see list' from the US.

Yeah I saw the thunderbirds in 2001 at the CIAS.... which is the Toronto Airshow. i have not yet seen the blue angels (this weekend) ... and I remember the Golden Knights a LONG time ago did a performance in Toronto. The snowbirds are great because they guarantee they are doing something for the entire show. While one line is preparing the other is already in motion type thing.... they are of course our national pride Smile

Rain Sunday? Weather.com says only scattered thunderstorms... it had better not rain- I was planning on going Sunday as I have other plans Saturday that would be hard to get out of... Angry

they really are a symbol for us Canadians. you will LOVE them. They are not flying at 600 knots and what not but just the maneuvers make you respect the training and what not all military pilots go through . Its a site and you will love it.
