A report airing on BBC claims that sightings of UFO's over Britain may actually have been glimpses of a top secret Mach 6-capable American spy plane known as "Aurora".
(Excerpt)
Quote: The broadcaster's showcase television news analysis programme Newsnight claims that although released under the country's freedom of information act, parts [of a formerly top secret government report] that remain censored lend credibility to claims that the US military has developed a cryogenic fuel-powered successor to the SR-71 Blackbird supersonic jet.

It was about 5 years ago i was sitting outside a grocery store in Washington State and i looked up and saw an aircraft. The exhaust was a line with large "white dots". Or like a "Chain of Dots" Anyone know what the exhaust looks like for the Aurora? Robert NWDC10

Aurora's contrail (if seen, Aurora mostly operates at night), looks like a normal contrail with rings around it. Some have dubbed it "donut rope". Despite all of the hooplah, something is out there.
Fishy as it may seem, it is just cool to believe that a high-tech, kick-ass aircraft is loose up there.

Aurora, or any other airplane flying above FL550 don't leave contrails.
