I beleive this is the first Delta 4 rocket sheduled for lift off at the Van AFB. Launch Time will be at 06/28/06 between 02:00 to 04:00 UTC. The lauch times are kept classified until T:18. The rocket will carry a satellite that will be used to track military operations in foreign countries and it is called the NRO payload developed by the CIA and the DoD.

How come this forum is not active? If thats the case, then I will post this somewhere else.

Anyway, does anyone know the frequencies for this launch please? If so, can someone post them? I would like to hear the launch activities please.

I saw this launch from 30,000+ feet on my flight from SAN-SJC tonight! What an awesome sight it was!

No, unfortunately I could not get any pics. I had my camera, but I had a middle seat so I didn't want to reach over the gentelman in the window seat and the sun had just bartely set so it is highly doubtful any pictures would have come out. Would have been too dark. It was really cool though. I only saw it because the Captain quickly pointed it out to the passengers on the left side of the aircraft.
