On Saturday, October 13, 2001, A funeral was held for one of the men killed in the Pentagon. He had been a pilot of the B-52 in Vietnam, and in memorial, a B-52 was to fly over Arlington National Cemetary in the afternoon. I had the fortune to be playing golf at a club on the Potomac River and around 3pm watched as the enormous plane flew over enroute to North Dakota after the memorial fly over.

I saw it to, and it's always something to see that big bomber go overhead. I think it was a bit late, as I was about to give up on it. But when I heard the roar of those engines coming I knew what it was. Its departure from the cemetery took it directly over north Arlington, VA.
