Seems that Norway is still considering the Eurofighter, the Gripen, and the F-35.

If true, this report means that Dassault's Rafale is continuing its unbroken string of losses on the export front, a fact which is beginning to have development and budget ramifications for the platform.

With Norway electing to remain in the JSF consortium so far, it isn't too far-fetched to imagine that considerable pressure would be applied for the country to buy what supports local industry, unless the other bidders make an offer Norway can't refuse. Of course, another one of the most important considerations is price.

It's interesting to see how BAe is involved with all the three remaining candidates.

What other deals are pending in which the Rafale is competing? Which French entrant is India considering, Rafale or the Mirage 2000?

Isn't Morocco trying to buy Rafale fighters, with financial help from Saudi Arabia?

Norway has expressed displeasure at its work share in the JSF program. This led to the country considering leaving JSF earlier in the year. Norway is also involved in some production for the Typhoon program.

On price, the cost of JSF is not yet clear (development incomplete) which does make a Typhoon purchase a less risky exercise in terms of cost.
