I was just watching them fly former President Fords body back to Washington
and of course it never showed on flight aware, But did anyone notice how rough the plane looked. I know Bush has been takeing both planes overseas
but the blue over the top and side of the fueselage looked faded. I had never
noticed but up close you can see the windows plugged under the blue paint.

And the a/c just didnt look right. could there be a 2900 double we do not know about just for things like these funerals and other functions..
Normally theres about 15 darn antennas all along the roof..

i can see for 80 miles

I did see all the antennas on the roof when Fox News showed it. There are only two VC-25's.

I think most colors look faded or something similar given the right lighting conditions. Just look at diff pictures of the Blue Angels on here. Some pictures they look faded yet in some they are a brilliant blue. As for the windows, do you mean that having them plugged looks rough or were you just pointing out the fact you had never seen them before?

1) The aircraft is SAM 29000

2) Perhaps it wasn't clear on TV, but the antennas are clearly visible:

3) Note the angle of the sun in the above photo...same as the TV angles I saw and probably what you saw as well. The "faded paint" is nothing more than glare. Note this later image of SAM 29000 on departure from Palm Springs:

The colors look fine to me. smile

Failure is not an option; it's an outcome.
