Was just browsing around and came across this very short.... but awesome video of a B-1B doing a pass after some sort of sorte im assuming. Pending on your sound quality you can just hear the power of that B-1B. It almost looks it dropped a flare just before he came over them?

Awesome video!
Why would they drop a flare like that?

Quoting Jacks757 (Reply 3): Why would they drop a flare like that?
Part of the message-flares now, bombs later.
It's neat to see fighters cranking around at high G loads, but it's really freaky to see the heavy iron doing it. I've seen an A310 close to the ground doing steep turns as a demo, & frankly it gave me the creeps.

C'mon... we had a lower flyover at the Rose Bowl last year! haha

Quoting Bjornstrom (Reply 8): That's not Danish - they seem to speak German on the clip?
No, they're Danes! That clip is part of another, longer video that could be seen on militaryphotos.com. It was about Danish 1st Recce troups fighting togetherwith British 3rd Paras in Musa Quala, Helmand Province, Afganistan. They don't speak German either ...
Well it seemed lower, haha. But I was sitting to the left of the camera just about under the scoreboard at the south end and all that smoke from those last fireworks blocked my view until it was pretty much right on top of us.

Quoting Jacks757 (Reply 13): Yeah, we definetly need more B-1 flyovers in full afterburner !
We had a private one (as private as a B-1B going at full after burner can be) at our graduation parade at Ellsworth. Man he was cookin. They were going so fast if any one on the crew would have farted they would have broken the sound barrier. After they passed us they pulled the nose up to almost vertical. Never though I'd see a plane of that size do a maneuver like that.

No offense as I know you are not the one who created the video.
That video has got to be fake for two reason.
1. It looks like a fake. It looks like a flight sim plane.
2. There is no reason for a 135 to get that low especially in a combat zone.

Sorry, but as far as I know (I'm no expert) this is real. So you can put your little flag down.
Why do you think this is a combat zone?
If you don't believe me, look into this threat where it was posted for the first time on a.net. Nobody even of the knowledgeable folks on this site claimed it was faked. KC-135 Low Level Pass (by Wannabe Nov 28 2006 in Military Aviation & Space Flight)

Quoting KevinSmith (Reply 21): Touche good sir. I was making an assumption that it was in Iraq. It may not be in a combat zone. That would make it more plausible.
It's filmed in Djibouti, where the french have stationed both troops and aircraft, it's their largest base outside France IIRC.

my intent while posting the video was to show the B-1B at extremely high speeds without noise abatement restrictions etc.... the sound just blew me away... and I doubt this was just a SHOW ... at the expense of American Tax Dollars, to impress a bunch of Danes, Dutch, Germans, Maggots, Rats, Vermin, whatever you want! ... That thing was pushing the limit
