Japan Coast Guard Helicopter Seen In France

I was on vacation in southern France, some weeks ago. During that time, we went to Marseille airport to do some planespotting.
There was a helicopter from Japan Coast Guard , a Super Puma, which landed at the airport..
It's sign was: F-WWOT.
So what's that about? Will it be delivered to Japan, or why was there a Japanese Helicopter at a french airport?

Most probably yes, Pumas are built in southern France and F-WW.. are test registrations.

Take a look at Marseille airport on googleearth and you'll see the helicopter factory down the runway off to the eastern part of the facility.
