If anyone is interested there was a RNZAF P-3Kat CHC yesterday, it was nice to see a different miltary aircraft at CHC from the usual US, NZ and Italy transports.
It is here for an airshow.

Did anyone know that the P-3 needs a two hour pre-flight check, I did not know this until yesterday.

There was a CP-140 in this summer's Windsor Airshow. I didn't see any visual signs of the crew doing anything until about 15-20 minutes before they were to take off on their aerial display.

I would hope that is not the case in war time as two hours on the ground is a long time.
