This picture has been added to the database

"Training flights at the Migalovo AF base"

I had the impression only one was left (Antonov owned), showing up in the west frequently.

Looking at this one it seems it has been been in storage for some time..

A photo search seems to confirm my impression..

From an enthousiasts perspective, I don't mind seeing more of them   we don't get >40.000hp props frequently here..

P.S. looking a bit further the Russian airforce seems to have some more, during the last few years they appeared in the database. Anyway, it seems hard to replace for the Russians, same as C5 for the USAF..

Five An-22s are flying.

UR-09307 owned by Antonov. This is the one you see in Western airports.

RA-09309 - it looks weathered and like it was in storage but it wasn't, that's just how it is.
RA-09328
RA-09342
RA-09344

RA-09329 might also be flying, but I personally don't think it is.
