Spotted them on the ANG ramp last week. They've been sitting there awhile and look operational. I knew the C-130's left and the Oklahoma Air National Guard brought in -135's. Didn't know they were E's though. Any plans for re-engining?

I believe those KC-135Es are in flyable storage there. There are also several KC-135Es stored at PSM. As far as I know the OKANG is not converting to the KC-135 mission. But, there is a KC-135R USAFR unit at TIK, the 508th AREFS, I believe.

There are a few at Tinker as well which are just sitting around, at least two E models, one from IL and I think the other was Iowa. I also believe Bangor has quite a few E models sitting around.

The 137 ARW OKANG and the 507th ARW USAFR are sharing acft at ktik, there are 2 KC-135E's being kept flyable by the 137th with parked on the compass row at Tik with another 5 parked on the guard ramp at OKC which the 137th will have to phase before they head to AMARC which the congress will not let them do yet.
