Hey all!
If I am in the wrong section - I apologise!
I was alerted today by a buddy of mine that he saw an AWACs plane (he described it as a plane with a radar dish on but didn't know the aircraft type!) taking off from runway 09 at EMA today or yesterday!
Can anyone tell me why it was at a civilian airport. Must have been a fuel stop or something but surely a uS air base in the UK would have handled this!

EMA is not very far from RAF Waddington, where the RAF's Sentries are based.
