This year, the traditional flypast by the RAF, after the annual Trooping The Colour parade on Saturday 14th June, was rather larger than usual, with a 20 mile long, 55 aircraft package.
Led by the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight, with one Lancaster plus two each of Spitfires and Hurricanes.
Unusually, the Red Arrows display team were not involved, but there were formations of 9 x Typhoons and 16 x Tornado GR.4's featured.
The larger display this year is part of the RAF's 90th anniversary commemorations.

Apparently the Red Arrows are flying at the Quebec City air show this weekend along with the Canadian Snowbirds, Thunderbirds and Blue Angels. ..."Must be quite a show"
.....although I think they stopped calling it that a long time ago. Please note that the images were chosen for the colors only, purely for illustrative purposes.
OR, perhaps they could get her one of these from whoever might be relinquishing a slot due to current business climate. .....
On the BBC coverage, as the BBMF and Hercules fly over, you can see a white helicopter hovering above. This is a 32 Squadron Agusta A109 which performed the weather check before the main flypast.
