Can you describe what the KC-114A was going to be (it was never built)?
Only clue: it was replaced by essentially the same aircraft built under a different designation.

Propulsor was in the ballpark and Contact_tower was spot-on ... KC-114A was the original designation for the Saudi Air Force's KE-3A tankers (based on the B707-700 airframe). The original order for 5 KC-114As was cancelled and replaced by an order for 6 KE-3As (+ another 2 later).

Not 100% certain of this bit, but I understand that the essential difference between the two types is that the KC-114A was to going to be JT3D/TF33-powered, whereas the KE-3As are CFM56-powered.
