Here below the link to the forum of Aviazionecivile.it where you can find some beautiful pics of the third M-346 built (and the first Initial Production Aircraft) that flew some days ago with a stunning red livery.

I think that, due to the early breaking of the JV between Aermacchi and Yakovlev, the commonality with the Yak-130 is limited to the airframe, while the engines and the avionics are completely different.

Regarding the Mako well, it is still on the paper...
