I live near Oceana and I am used to seeing F/A-18's flying overhead all the time. Yesterday, I saw something I have never seen before. Flying the traffic pattern was several A/C which were delta winged, with canard stabilizers, single tail fin, and two engines. What kind of A/C is it?

I am keeping my camera with me in case they fly over me today. If I get any pictures I will post them here.

Looking at photos on the internet this morning it looks like it could be the Eurofighter.

From a Source in the know Rafale's were at Oceana recently so its not the Plastic Typhoon but its French relative.

You saw French Navy Rafale's, they're in town to do joint exercises with the US. Also the French E-2s are over at Norfolk.
