Italian Military Helicopter Crash In NE France

An Italian military helicopter crashed in NE France today, while on exercises; 8 killed. (Euronews reports 7 killed)

No info on type, but it was apparently Army, not Air Force. Came down near L'Isle en Barrois in Meuse (Dept.)

I heard that on the French news. The helicopter was from the Italian army, but there is no news concerning the nationality of the passengers. Were they all Italians?

Agusta - Sykorsky HH-3F are used only by the Italian Air Force as Combat SAR Helicopters, not by the Army Aviation.
It was based in Brindisi, South West Italy, but depending on the 15. Stormo from Pratica di Mare, nearby Rome.

A very sad news.
