RAF VC-10: Function Of Probe Over Radome?

In the following photograph of a UK RAF VC-10, what is the function of the probe immediately below the cockpit windows but over the radome ?

If it is a refueling probe, how long does it take to fuel air-air ? The diameter (and possible flow rate) of the probe looks very tiny compared to the amount of fuel required in the tanks.

Does anyone have some details on how long it might take to complete air-air refueling, or is there another purpose for this probe ?

Yes, it is a refuelling probe. But I don't know what the fuel flow rate is.  Smile

Quoting BOACVC10 (Thread starter):

While we're on the subject, what is that angled duct between the chordwise wing fence and the extended slat? Leading edge anti-ice air supply?

I don't know for sure if this site will provide the answers, but it's very comprehensive and you'll most likely find them here;
