So what do people carry with them all the time?
Me, chapstick (or lipsyl etc) and a piece of paper towel for blowing my nose (used to be a proper hanky but that started to get grim). Don't even need wallet/keys, all I need are these 2 things and I'm set. If I go out without these things I have to go back to get them!

Caffeine and nicotine are allowed. In fact, most recovering drunks smoke like a fish and drink coffee like a smokestack. The AA meeting halls have non-smoking meetings, which are about 1/3 as full as the smoking meetings. AA meeting hall coffee pots tend to be 50 cups or more in capacity.

The usual stuff that I mostly bring along with me everyday:
Money of course! I don't usually bring more than 40 Euros with me per day. Not very safe to bring more than 40 Euros in DUB. I never bring a wallet with me.
My camera. Don't use it everyday it but it is useful item to bring with. For peace of mind my camera is put inside a very normal bag to disguise the camera and that there is nothing worth to steal.
One form of valid ID
A pen
The stuff that I sometimes bring along with me:
A phone
A torch. In case that it gets too dark in Winter evenings.
Keys. When I use the car.

I've managed to live without a chapstick all these years, so maybe my lips will fall off in old age, but whatever. I generally forget my cellphone, but have just invested in a new sexy one, so maybe that will help me remember. When I lived in the outback, my camera was surgically attached to me, but not here in civilisation.
