Do you know what we call such a thing? We definitely don't call it a Danish.

We call it "Bagerens daarlige oeje" = "Baker's bad eye".

But exactly what is normally called Danish (I think) is what we call "Vienerbroed" = "Vienna Bread" (no offence to our Austrian friends).

Vienerbroed is slightly more eatable than Bagerens daarlige oeje, but I haven't tasted either for many years.

I'm not overly fond of these to begin with, I'd prefer an apple fritter or maple bar, but if I'm going to have one, has to be cheese - with lots and lots of filling.

The food looks good to me, Can one of our Danish friends overnight some to the U.S.? Also, I dip Copenhagen here in the U.S.A. is their any link between the tobacco here in the U.S. "Copenhagen" and the capital of Denmark?

Euro92, remember that?

Thomas, I dont' mean to be after you but it always amazes me when a Norwegian get all high and mighty about football. Why don't you tell me about all the glorious Norwegian football victories over the years. There are so many of them I can't remember them all. Please remind me.

Now a translation is probably relevant....

We are red, we are white. We stand together shoulder by shoulder.

It sounds a lot more poetic in Danish. And it sounds best when performed by 50,000 spectators at a soccer match.
