Topic: Can't View Photos In My Browser Username: LH748i Posted 2008-02-13 11:05:05 and read 2261 times.Hi,
I already posted this a couple of weeks ago in the civil aviation forum and I was told that this wouldn't be the right forum, so I try here.
My browser (opera) does not show the pictures in the trip reports. It does show these tiny ones, where you can't click on to enlarge it, but it does not show the big ones, where you can click on, to make it even more bigger. I also already tried the microsoft explorer, but this also doesn't work.
Could someone please help me, because reading these reports is somehow boring, without viewing the pictures.
Thank you very much. |

Using Opera as my primary browser without problems, there appears to be some incorrect setting.
1. Which version are you using ?
2. Can you provide an example (link) of a faulty Trip report ?
3. Do you have the same problem with other websites, too ?
4. Do you have an alternative browser available ? Is this one displaying that thread correctly ? If this one acts faulty, too, it might be that a firewall is blocking a site (or parts of it).

1.) version 9.23
2.) take this one: LH/333 With PTV In Y/Cl. (FRA-MUC-PRG-HAM-FRA) I can view the firs two pictures of the A333 by Steve Albrecht and Frank Kuehne, but not the big one if you go further down, with the title "the ife screen". Same with the other big pictures, I can't view them, only the small ones again, if you go further and further down.
3.) I never had the problems with other sites.
4.) I tried the microsoft internet explorer

These two are pictuers from A.net ...
Quoting LH748i (Reply 3): but not the big one if you go further down, with the title "the ife screen". |
... whereas these are hosted by photobucket.
And ? Did that one show the thread with pictures correctly ?

The latest version is 9.25, but I haven't had the problems you described with 9.23.
____
One other thing to check out would be to install a new copy of OPERA (v9.25) into a different folder (Yes, one can install Opera more than once on a computer and run these installations independently from eachother) and check if a completely new installation shows the same problems.
