Topic: Woman Fails Driver's Test 775 Times Username: 777ER Posted 2009-02-22 16:26:23 and read 5092 times.A South Korean woman who has failed the driver's exam 775 times is not about give up on her hope of buying a truck one day to go into her own business, whether other drivers want her on the road or not.
Cha Sa-soon, 68, has been trying since 2005 to pass the written portion of the test to get a licence, but she has so far failed to get the 60 percent required to clear it.
"I've looked up some guidebooks to get a driver's licence, and they were saying it takes at most five years to get this," Cha said in North Jeolla province, where farmers on tractors or cows can be just as common on country roads as motor vehicles.

If she can't pass the test after all these attempts then its clearly obvious she doesn't have the mental ability to safly drive a motor vehicle. |

Well, now I definitely do not feel so bad for missing it on my first chance for both the learner's permit and then the driving test for a Pennsylvania state driver's license...
I got both the second time around tho. |

I believe she had to pay a fee each time she took the test so to the testing agency might have looked at her as a steady source of income. Even so after 775 times it might be time to say never mind.

Hehe, the testing agency enjoy this, I am sure. Let say that each testing costs $1, then she has paid more than $775!!

In the US its more than that. I dont know about Korea - and who knows - they may not even have a charge if this lady can afford 775 attempts, but if they do charge they've prolly made a few grand off this woman.

That's a lot of money. Seriously, this woman should undergo some therapy.

This attitude, after 775 failures, plus her wish to start a business at her age, is impressive. I hope she passes next time and that she may in one way or another write off those fees as business expenses. |

Ever been to New York and New Jersey? Most of the liscensed drivers there lack the mental capacity to operate a motor vehicle.

No offense, but women drivers, in general, do suck! My fiancee and most of my family members are exceptions, tho. Even THEY say that women drivers are notoriously lousy!!

I do know someone who had their learner's permit for several years -- she kept getting it renewed. Then she took the test...
And passed it on the first try!!!
