A woman was standing on the platform at Chambers Street minding her own business when a hungry rat took a bite of her exposed toe. This is the first rat attack of this sort. I guess it's Humans: 0 Rats: 1.

There are just as many lawyers as there are rats in New York that will be more than happy to sue the city of New York for her bite.

I'm sorry to read about this. Sounds like a freak accident. Rats usually try to keep their distance and only bite when they're cornered.
Silly question but did her feet smell like cheese?

The rat will be represented by PETA who will countersue on behalf of said rat. NYC rats prefer cheese that is locally grown from grass-fed cows and know the difference between a toe and a mozzarella.
