Most of Carnival larger ship companies, Cunard, Princess, P&O and Costa, has at least one 100000 + tons Post Panamax ship in their fleet. Even AIDA, has two Post Panamax cruise ships, being built at Mitsubishi yards in Japan, so what are the chances, that Carnival will order a Post Panamax for HAL ( Holland American Lines)?

Slim to none. It is not there market and the market they cater to would not embrace it. Just because the other lines have it does not mean every line needs one.

I don't see them doing it as they have a specific clientele who would not appreciate it . Never say never though ! I enjoy most ships/lines I travel on but I like HAL the way it is .
