Laurent Blanc has signed a new one year deal with Man Utd commencing with immediate effect.

Italian U21 player Massimo Maccarone has joined Middlesbrough for £8.1 million, and Middlesbrough are to hold talks with Juninho after agreeing a transfer fee with Atletico Madrid.

It seems that Middlesboro are still trying to buy success. They must be one of the biggest spenders over the last 10 years with nothing to show for it. I bet their fans have had to stump up again for their tickets too.
