Alright, I have a question.

Everyone is aware of the Quicktime VR and all those rotatable image programs.

I am asking everyone if they know the BEST one to go with, that comes out with the best quality and is HARDWARE based (ie actually uses hardware like a mirror to create the image, instead of simply using stills and combining them in software) for around $1000-$5000. Also, a good camera to use with this would be nice as well. I am looking at an SLR (like the Canon D60 or the Nikon D-100) to use for some stills, but also if they can work in conjuction with any hardware to create those rotatable images, it would be helpful.

If I am unclear, just let me know.

These days you can get a kit which would give you a tripod (a nice Bogen), a head (a special one that turns exactly 180 deg), a digicam (they have several models to choose from), fisheye lens, software, and anything else one would need. Look into those, they are marketed out, I just don't remember who sells them.
