I give pizzas a miss if I possibly can - I don't think I've had one this year.

However, if I must, then it is usually a Hawaiin with chicken, pineapple, mushroom and whatever else takes my fancy. A bacon and banana pizza can be quite tasty too despite LH423's comment regarding that combination - "ewwwww!" I say don't judge until you try..........

I like sausage and cheese and maybe peppers on thick crust/Chicago style pizza. I like either just cheese or everything/combo on all other pizzas. And I only like deep dish pizza. I feel gypped when I'm eating a thin crust pizza.

I'll eat any kind of pizza, as long as it doesnt have any raw fish on it and isnt a really wacky combination (the aforementioned banana and bacon doesnt sound too appetizing). I like Papa Johns when I go to Florida, around here in Nevada, Round Table Pizza is my favorite, its only found in the west, tho. I like Domino's and Pizza Hut too.

Pepperoni, although Canadian Bacon and BBQ Chicken are quite good as well. On the subject, being the wise one I am, has anybody else poured a packet of Pizza Hut's crushed pepper onto a single small piece of pepperoni pizza? I was sweating like a pig, and my tongue felt like it was burning.

Pizza Luce!!! So funny to see them mentioned here. Good choice.

What about Green Mill or Davanni's? Also favorites of mine.

I just got turned on to Papa Murphy's Take & Bake too. Yummy

BTW, one of my fraternity brothers got married a couple weekends ago in Chicago. Each guest got a CD with a collection of songs he and his wife selected to represent their marriage and love or whatever. There was a song by Branvan3k on there.

TW,

Thats so awesome you actually know who Branvan3000 are! Was it the song "Drinking in LA" IF so, that is the best song ever crafted!

We have a green mill in Duluth, it's...adequate.... nothing to write home about.

The Davanni's in Burnsville is utter trash! The mere sight of that one sends chills up my spine, yipes. Some poor saps from school STILL work there, heh. I am eagerly awaiting this weekend, going down to the cities and taking a date to Falafel King. Mmmmmmmmmm

Pizza Hut? Dominos? UGH!!!  If you want really good pizza, come to Boston. Come into the North End, and on Thatcher St, there sits the original Pizzaria Regina. Absolutely the BEST pizza in the world, or at least in Boston. Pizza Hut, yech!!

I just realized, I never answered the question. My favourite topping is sausage, green pepper, and onion. Delicious!

Yes I second LH423. IMHO, how can people eat the stuff that comes out of Domino's and Pizza Hut? Anyway the North End does have some good pizza. However Italy, um, er, uh has the best! However living in Los Angeles those 11 hour trips to Europe aren't to convient when you get one of those cravings, so I'll offer up a few suggestions for GOOD pizza...(in areas I know)

Los Angeles:
-Alto Palato: 755 N LaCienega. (b/t Sanata Monica and Melrose)
Very good, true to the original, this crust without lots of awful gooey cheese.
-LA Tratoria: On 3rd a little east of Crescent Heights.
The only Italian place on the West coast where the owner is a member of the 'Pizza makers guild of Napels'. Shall I say more?

New York:
-John's: There are a few, I usually go to the one on W 65th (or is it 64th?) between B'way and CPW. Brooklyn style and whole pies only...better be hungry for the best pizza this side of the Atlantic.

Just my thoughts,
~N960AS

BBQ Chicken is good, but not always in the mood for it.

LOVE Falafel King (being a vegetarian and all).

Ever eaten at "It's Greek to Me" across the street? Haven't been there in years, but it used to be really good. I think Christo's is better though.

So how's good old Duluth? It's been a nightmare here the last few days with the weather (commute).

Can't remember the name of the Branvan3000 song off the top of my head, but I'll let you know....

Later.
