This is why Alex Zanardi was (and still is) my favorite driver, this guy has guts and courage.

That's an absolutely incredible story. I really like it. Do you think he has a chance at returning to competetive racing?

I don't know if he would ever be able to handle a whole race, but I think him finishing this race means alot to him.

Also I would love to see Alex as an owner, and perhaps part of a team to rebuild open wheel racing in North America by perhaps overseeing the merger of CART and the IRL.

What a guy! Most people would have called it quits, but it's incredible that he hasn't given up, and now he's going to be able to (to an extent) finish the race that nearly killed him. It's really inspiring to those who want to give up on something simple & see a man who lost both legs in a crash, sat idle for two years, and made a comeback. Go Alex!

Is he going to start on the lead lap, or is CART going to put him 142 laps down & just have him turn laps?
