I know we have people here who are workout and excercise junkies/fanatics  Laugh out loud So I have a question for you.

What kind of excercises can I do to strengthen my back? Mostly my lower back, and then my middle back. I dont have access to a weight room. Thanks

See if this site does any good.

This is the specific link to the back page http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/WaistWt.html#anchor1945210

They have stuff for dumbells and streches and machines.

I am still planing on how I am going to set up my weight set, but there seems to be some pretty good excercise suggestions there.

I would get one of those resistance ropes that stretch and you can use that if you don't have access to a weight room.

One of the best things you can do to strenghten your lower back is to work on your abdominals. Stomach crunches not only strenghthen abdominal muscles (which support your back), but they tend to work muscles in your lower back as well. Performing stomach crunches on an exercise ball is especially beneficial as you are often working more than one set of muscles in your lower abdomen at the same time.

Deadlifts are definitely the best lower back exercise. They require no equipment beyond a barbell or a pair of dumbbells. While deadlifts are not dangerous if you use proper form, they can be risky if your form is not correct, so it's best to start with very light weights and concentrate on form.

No problem.....

I recommend Arnold's book, The encyclopedia of Bodybuilding too.

He does a lot about physiology and how to isolate muscles in it.

They used it for a reference on that site.
