Hello,

http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=7033

The movie is called "Red-Eye" coming out sometime this year from the director Wes Craven (Scream Movie Franchise). I saw this and thought someone might be interested.

Yep, I spoke with the President of Dreamworks about this movie several months ago, they are doing the filming some of the filming in California.

Saw the movie 'Turbulence' on TNT the other night. Acting was pretty crummy, but they had their technical details down good.

QuestAir,

Even when the 747 did a barrel roll? Sorry, couldn't resist saying that.

My question is, will it take itself seriously or be tongue-in-cheek like the Scream movies? Personally I'd much prefer the latter, but it's hard to tell from that brief synopsis...

Had their technical details down good? Are you kidding me? Myself and another crewmember went and saw it when it came out, and laughed our asses off throughout the entire thing. It's an AWFUL movie... (I particularly loved the
fact that there were only 2 pilots and 4 flight attendants on a 747-200)...

That is one thing I have never understood about Hollywood, is the fact that they will spend millions of dollars just to make sure the dog barking in the background is at the same level every single take, but they almost always get aircraft technical details all wrong.
What don't they want to spend some money on a consultant, or if they did they should fire him and get another one ?

This must be the year of aviation suspense thrillers.

Here is another... "Flightplan". It almost sounds like the same movie as "Red-Eye". Hopefully they don't come out at the same time.

A set of lesbo F/As? Eeeeewwwwwww.......

What I ask for is its a good movie yes, and that they DONT film diffrent a/c in every scene! Most aviation movies use to be 3-4 diffrent a/c, it really ticks me off......Rrrhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa (thats irish!)

According to IMDB.com it says that in November of 2004...they were filming during night time at an Ontario airport in Canada. Anyone know which airport it was??

I don't recall hearing anything about it in the Hamilton newspapers or Toronto Newspapers.

Maybe YOW?
