Hi,

Having a small internet problem...when I try to open a link that will open a separate window, such as someone's profile, I click on it, and nothing happens...this has just started happening, Im not sure why...it has nothing to do with a pop-up blocker because I dont have one installed...any ideas? Its really becoming a nuisance...

Are you using IE or Firefox?

Anyway, you might want to try and reboot your system and see if it still doesn't work.

Internet Explorer...I tried restarting, didn't work...do you think getting Firefox would help?

Firefox is much better! No pop-ups, no adware. Try it. It's under 5Mb and you can get it here: http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox&os=win&lang=en-US

Anyhow, you might have some sort of adware on your PC. Try an anti-adware programme (like AdAware, http://www.lavasoft.com/support/download/).

If that doesn't work, try re-installing IE.

Just did the Firefox installation, works fine now, still dont know why it wouldnt work on IE????

Do you have SP2? It might have been blocking the pop-up as part of its new security code.
