Its a pulse/zigzag shape!

It means they use less chocolate.

When they make millions of Mars bars a year the savings add up to at least £2.50  Wink

It's probably from the grippy bits on the conveyor belt in the Mars factory (in Sleeeough I believe) that moves the Mars Bars along - premably its not completely smooth, but has ridges in it to stop the Mars Bars from sliding around in their molten state.

(Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm melted Mars Bars - I'm going to have to lie down in a darkened room now !)

It's there so that people who have nothing better to do but sit and study chocolate bars, get something to puzzle over.

That is how UTA and CMFs man-pimps work.. They weren't making any money when they were sold by length.

The pattern is most certainly from the little conveyor belt thingy.
